Lifetime Licence Policy

1. What “Lifetime” Means

When we say “lifetime licence”, we mean the lifetime of the LicenceForge product. For as long as LicenceForge is actively developed and maintained by 352 Digital S.à r.l., your licence entitles you to:

• Every update we release — new features, security patches, compatibility fixes, and major version upgrades.
• Access to updated documentation and the wiki.
• Use of the Software on one WordPress installation (your licensing server) with unlimited products and unlimited licences issued.

There is no expiry date on your licence.

2. No Renewal Fees

Your purchase is a one-time payment. You will never receive an invoice, be charged automatically, or be asked to renew to maintain access to the Software or its updates. This is a core principle of how we sell LicenceForge.

4. One Installation

Each licence permits installation on one (1) WordPress site used as your licensing server. This single installation can manage unlimited products and issue unlimited licences to your customers. If you need additional licensing servers, additional licences can be purchased.

5. Product Continuity

We are committed to the long-term development of LicenceForge. In the unlikely event that 352 Digital S.à r.l. ceases development of the product:

• The Software is licensed under the GPLv2+, so you retain the legal right to use, modify, and distribute the code.
• Your last installed version will continue to function indefinitely on your server.
• We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice.

6. What Is Not Included

The lifetime licence does not include:

• Custom development: Bespoke features or modifications built to your specification.
• Third-party integrations: We do not guarantee compatibility with every third-party plugin, theme, or hosting provider.
• Dedicated support SLA: While we provide support via our contact form and documentation, we do not offer guaranteed response times or dedicated support agents.

7. Transferability

Licences are non-transferable. They are issued to the purchaser and may not be resold, gifted, or transferred to another individual or entity.

8. Why We Chose This Model

LicenceForge is a tool for developers who build and sell their own WordPress products. We chose a lifetime licence model because:

• You are technical. You can install, configure, and extend the software yourself.
• You will use it for years. A subscription doesn’t make sense when the tool runs on your own server indefinitely.
• Ongoing costs erode your margins. Every euro you save on tooling is a euro you keep from your own product sales.
• Trust is earned. If we want you to recommend LicenceForge, we need to deliver value without locking you into payments.
